I would say a T25 isn't worth it but There are some really nice T28's out there that will give you a very nice power band. The T28 that comes on the sentra GTiR's come to mind.

No you shouldnt have problems runing it but no power over 5-6k rpms. It deff spool fast way before 3k but no top end power. On the other hand t3 60 trim would be much nicer choice. I ran t3 .42/.48 ar on my ls teg couple years ago and it was pretty nice. At 8 psi i had really nice powerband from 3k rpm all the way to 7k rpm. Also another alternative for your quick spool would be mitshubish 16g turbo.

With t28 yeah you could make that power, it take some boost to do it. Do you have the turbo? If not you have much better options then those two turbos.

I've a T25 from a SR20DET on my B18b and its pretty quick turbo but i've no power over 6000 rpm...... Its ok for a non v-tec application but you need a bigger Tubocharge for vtec setup if you want high end power.

Hey guys, when your running a small turbo like that, like i was greddy 15g on a b16, the best way for it to hold up to 10psi to redline 8200 for me was to add a mbc and crank it ALL the way open, held 10psi steady like a rock.

try it out.

89Civic1.8T is correct. IF you were going to use a T28, which is a T25 hot side, mated to a T3+ cold side, You would need the .86 A/R hot side of the Nissan Pulsar GTi-R T28.
I have personally used this turbo on my B20 buildup, and it was awesome. Awesome spool(non-BB), and it just slammed into redline.
There are alot of people who know nothing of these turbos regurgitating misinformation about them.
Search for my old posts for more info on my setup, but 210 wheel at 6 PSI...
it would be a decent match for a B18C.
That being said: Go with a T3 setup. Infinately easier, and there are much more products, knowledge, and support for T3 based setups...
If I can help you further, feel free to PM me.

I put a t25 on my friends hatch with a 93 civic with a gsr swap. and we just put a turbo set up on it he got the turbo for free so it was a free bee part. so we used it with a ssautochrome manifold. first gear just spinns second gear catches traction but about 45 mph to 60 starts breaking loose again. we haven't made it to the track but it pulls like a bitch to 8k I'm not sure what everyone is saying no power after 5-6k. They must not have one on there car or not been around them much or something but I'll ah sure you it pulls hard to 8k. we have 10 psi with a slight tune with the wide band and uberdata.

A T25 should easily hold a solid 10-12 psi to redline on a GSR. I know mine can hold about 11-12 psi on my SR20 all the way to 7.5k RPM. The head isn't flowing as much as a GSR at redline probably, but I have a displacement advantage.

An SR T25 will make about 240-270whp max'd out. Most T28's are usually in the 270-300whp range max'd out.
