95 ex SIR 2 b16 swap, wont start, help pls
Okay so I have a 95 civic ex sohc vtec, I got a 95 B16A sirII from Hmotorsonline. I dropped the engine in and everything, ran the harness and everything. No spark. Checked grounds, etc etc, only ecu code is the O2 sensor which I havnt ran to the back yet.
Now, H motors told me that when I buy parts for the engine, that I will say for a Honda Del Sol, 1995, DOHC Vtec. So I test the dizzy at my school, and realize its bad. I went today and got a new dizzy for a 95 del sol dohc, and it doesnt bolt up right at all. Looks like my D-series dizzy. I checked for spark though and it does spark. So I took it back and got another dizzy and it looked the same, from kragen this time, and it sparked but no bolt up.
So what the hell do I buy parts for then? I was gonna try a 99-00 civic SI dizzy for the b16a2, but they were both out of stock. Its not my wiring because it sparks and cranks fine with the new dizzy, they just don bolt up right, and it didnt fire the car.
Any idea what to buy parts for?
