What dizzy will BOLT UP to Sir II B16 ?
My dizzy is bad, after using a 95 Del Sol Vtec, and see'ing that it doesnt bolt up correctly, I dont know what to buy.
Anyone know what dizzy I can use for JDM odb1 B16A Sir II? One that bolts up right...

the del sol DOHC vtec distributor should work fine. the SOHC vtec distributor won't work. you can also use a 92-95 Integra GSR DOHC vtec distributor.
be careful when you ask for parts for the "VTEC Del Sol". parts get incorrectly cross listed between dohc vtec and sohc vtecI often got D16z6 parts instead of B16a parts. i went to autozone to buy a timing belt, and they gave me a d16z6 belt that was listed under "dohc vtec". i also needed a new altenator, and pep boys gave me a d-series one instead of a b-series one.

if you can wait, get one off ebay. they have "new" (probably rebuilt) dizzys for $180 shipped. they go for $240+ at kragen w/o cap can rotor. the ebay ones even have 5yr warranties

Actually no the thread was crowded so I made a new one so people didnt have to read the whole thing to get whats going on.
No one ever answered what dizzy I could be using, so far everyones asnwer on what dizzy was a wrong dizzy when I got down there. The only one that I havnt seen yet is the one part # on this thread..So just dont talk if your gonna flame like a retard, no one wants to look at a thread with 2 pages, so I made a new one to make it easy..

Re: (dantastic)
The problem is I watched them pull up DOHC Vtec and the part number was like 17404, and thats what everyone has in stock, which doesnt bolt up. One store has the 17407 so im hoping hes not a moron and actually has it, because last time I was there 2 days ago he had a different one but said it was the dohc vtec del sol dizzy..

I used my friends GSR distributor to see if that was my problem on my B16, and it bolted up fine. However, since he will eventually will need that back, I took the insides out of my original CX dist. put them in the B16 dist. and now I have a perfectly working B16 dist. Of course now that I think about it that means all the moving parts are worn a bit more than on a new one but I'm poor and it works for the moment, so I guess that's good enough.
In other words if you must have a brand new one, get one for a Integra GSR of the same OBD as the car you are putting it into, I'm sure there's one from a del sol that would work to but I never looked into it that far.
The parts store in my town likes selling me the wrong parts also. I really confuse now asking for Integra parts than asking for del sol and civic parts.

Re: (mental1)
Yeah they are all special order so I didnt wanna pay hella money and wait just yet..
I would swap my internals except the fact that kragen stripped the rotor screw and I cant get the internals off...
