What is the best exhaust for the gsr sedan? I've seen the exhausts for the 2dr and I want something that is loud only at WOT and doesn't drone at cruising. Also, I don't want to spend too much. Sorry, one more thing. How much would it cost to make a 2.5" exhaust down to the muffler and with a nice 3.5"-4" muffler? Which would be better, bought or home made.
Garados, based on what you said, I'd have to recommend the Apex'i WS (World Sport) exhaust. It is supposed to be very quiet, except at WOT and there it's suppose to have a nice growl. The WS is a relatively less expensive exhaust ($400-450 range) and is supposed to be a good value for the $$. If you're feeling "rich" then contact Dave Stadulis (username here: SMSP); he sells a 2.5" stainless steel system that uses Magnaflow resonator and muffler. That's what I've got I my car and I am very pleased with it. There are a number of other choices for the GSR sedan, and I'm sure you'll here from others about them. Good luck.
mugen if you got the loot (edit: don't wanna spend too much loot :hammer
- I've got the mugen catback on my sedan - loud only at WOT (4000 rpm and up sounds REAL nice) twin loop design does away with the "drone" sound you described - look into hytech's twin loop - it should be less $ than mugen - but still expensive (plus you'll prob have to wait for a custom one to fit a 4 door)

Also,
would there be ANY gain in running 2.5 inches vs. the ITR's 2.25 if my only mods are I/H/E itr cams/adjust cam gears. From what I understand, you don't really need 2.5in piping until you are close to 200whp. Does this sound right?
