My gas pedal keeps on sticking
Hey guys i got a question. I have a SUV and i think there is something wrong with my gas pedal. Whenever and only when i come to a complete stop and release my foot off the gas pedal and then when i step on it after letting my foot off of it ...it takes like twice as much pressure as you normally would to step on the gas. i donnt mean floor it or anything just like when you are a stop sign and when you go again you barely push on the gas, but mine takes like twice as much pressure and when i do..it looks like i'm trying to race everyone cause when i push on it hard enough it goes to like 2-3 rpm pulling me back.
Its not the floormat cause i already took it out

clean off the throttle body where the butterfly and spring are, also the pedal assembly, carb cleaner works great. dont get it on electrical stuff or your carpet.

Yeah, either your throttle body and related parts are dirty and sticking, or it could also possibly be your cable; you should check that for wear and corrosion as well.

carb cleaner?its not when i'm already on the gas..just sometimes when i'm at a complete stop it takes just a bit more pressure to get it going and when i do put a little bit more pressure it jumps to like 2 1/2 rpm and it looks like i'm trying to race everyone
whats a good carb cleaner? lucas?
