Your "runchannel" is sticking most likely causing the window motor to bind. Spray some silicone in the rubber track the window rides in to free it up...
If you keep straining the window motor, eventually youll need a new one...
If this doesnt work or your window makes popping noises and seems to come off track, you need a new window regulator...
Spray all the window tracks w/ silicone as preventive maintenance

autoparts store should have it, its in a can like spraypaint. Any generic spray silicone should work. The autoparts store guy should know what it is and be able to help you...

no, just roll the window all the way down...
See the rubber "track" in which the window slides up and down in? This is called the runchannel...
That is where you need to spray the silicone spray....

soo all i do is roll the window all the way down.. then spray down there?? or is it more complicated than that?? oh and right now the inside panel is off cuz i was messing with my mirrors.. so seeing as i had a problem with the window i might as well leave the panel off till i fix it.. hopefully today

Thats exactly what you do. Wind the window fully down, and point the straw down the channel back and front edge of window (same straw as WD40) and spray. Then wind the window up and down a few times, it worked for me!

hey i had this same prob on my ej. i took off the door panel took out the window and the black rubber in the tracks. then very carefully spread the tracks open just a little bit. not too much or your window will rattle. now my windows are super fast, even faster then when it was new. give it a try you wont be dissapointed.
