Default VTEC wiring question???

Ive' been serching for a while but haven't really found anything solid.
I bought a 94 honda civic hatchback cx recently, and It already have a single head vtec motor swapped in it. My question is: I want to put a 2000 gsr motor in the car do I have to do anything else to the wiring so the motor can work, or is it simple plug and play???? Also I want to run an P28 computer that I have instead over the obd2 p72 comuter. Do I have to get an obd2-to-obd1 piggy-back in order for the motor to run correctly??? All help is greatly appreciated,AND I want to say thank u ahead of time to who ever can help me with this question.

if you are using the p28, all you will have to do is get an obd1 gsr dizzy and obd1 injectors and it will be plug and play.

that's not all necessarily true...

If your motor comes w/the "00 gsr wiring harness then you ARE able to plug in the gsr harness to your cx harness. That's my suggestion...F the obd-1 conversion junk...oh yeah almost forgot if you end up keeping the GSR mani you need to wire up the iab's to the ecu.

So i suggest switching to a blox or skunk2 or whatever is single runners so you wont have to worry bout wiring anything else up.

This is what i have done to my 94cx hatch.. swap the mani, p28, wire up the vtec solenoid and pressure switch..call it a day.

But if the car has a vtec motor in it wouldnt the wiring be done already??? or is it different because the motor is different??

some of the wires will have to lenghtened due to different locations. Also you will have to add some wires.
