Default B18A/B Header to fit on B16?

Is this possible? I have read some info that hints that this is possible. I did try to use the search but the "server is temporarily down."

Anyone have any solid evidence?

Again the question is : Will a B18A/B header fit a B16?

Thank you.

it will bolt up to the head, but there will likely be fitmet issues connecting it to the rest of the exhaust, so modification will be required.

Sounds like a plan then, thanks.

The main reason is because I am having a hard time locating a B16 header (at least by show of pics) that have an O2 bung in the primaries, instead of after the merge collector.

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

If you want your o2 sensor after the merge collector, you will need a B18A header from the 92-93 Integra, or a B18B from a 94-01 Integra. The 90-91 has the o2 bung on the primary as well. dFreezy is correct, it will bolt up fine to the head - then you have to worry about length.

If you need an o2 sensor on the primary, you need to get a 90-91 B18A integra header.

Have you thought of just extending the wire for the o2 so it reaches the collector area? Then you can pretty much any header you like.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I had thought of that, but if I can get away without splicing more wires, that would be my first choice.

See my edit above, I think I misunderstood your question. The way I read it at first, I thought you wanted an o2 on the primary, then I thought you wanted it on the 2ndary.

If you can find a b16 header that bolts up perfectly to the cat and exhaust without modification, I would definitely prefer rewiring the o2 so it fits, rather than cutting through a bunch of metal and welding it back together.

Thing is I am redoing the exhaust anyways. So that's not the issue. My main concern was it bolting up. Thanks again!

Bisimoto Engineering - sold at http://www.exospeed.com

It's definitely a race header though, so don't plan on running a/c or being smog legal.
