Default Cluster Swap question - search was down

I am swapping my nasty riced out white ej1 interior with a stock type d black interior from a 93 civic dx.. My problem is that my car is an auto ex with tach, and the dx is manual without tach. I searched and found that I was supposedly able to swap clusters without a problem.

When I took apart both dashes I noticed that the EX cluster has two green plugs that the dx cluster didn't even have.

Will I need to use my dash harness from the ex dash? I was excited to use the whole dash and harness from the dx because my current dash harness has a ripped out stock radio harness... for idiot ricers who don't know how to do stuff right.. why would you cut the stock harness to install a cd player
