I have a 93 Honda Civic DX Coupe with a 99 DX motor in it. and at the moment I have switched out the dash harness back to stock DX harness. everything on the dash and cluster works but except the speedometer. Any help would be appreciated

when this occurs, does the lights dim slightly? i replaced the vss and now the speedometer doesn't move no more. fuel meter and heat meter still works. fuse or cluster problem?
