Default Quick Q, my frined just got his S2K and .........

........ His headlights are "off."

Is there an easy way adjust the beam level/orientation of the headlight? Or do you have to take it to the "stealer" to get it done?

its supposed to be that way. its law so you don't blind on coming traffic

I had my lights taken out before. My passenger side is lower. We can adjust them at our mini mod day.

My friend said it is his passenger one as well ........ not the driver.

The car was in an accident more than likely from the previous owner, so that is what we suspect on it. They probably replaced the front or something and didn't adjust the lights correctly.

So what exactly is involved in adjusting them? I've done it easily on other cars.

I saw instructions how somewhere. Something like park 25ft away from wall and the light beam should be 2ft high on the wall. I think not sure.

I know "how" to do it .... like I said, I've done it on other cars ........

Just don't know what is involved in getting to the adjustment screws/settings. That's why I was trying to see if anyone here has done it and what they did to do it.

instructions as per service manual:

1. clean the outer lens so that you can see the center of the headlights
2. park the vehicle 25ft away from a wall or a screen
3. open the hood
4. turn the low beams on
5. meausre from ground to center of headlight. the low beam reflection on the wall should be 2.1 inches below this height
6. if necessary, adjust headlights vertically by turning the vertical adjuster (look near the bulb for this). from the pictures, it looks like they use a philips head screwdriver
