It does really vary from state to state. The best thing you can do is look up for free the laws online; just do a little searching there and if not ask a state police officer, they'll be glad to assist you when it comes to something like that.

22 inches from top of headlights in CA - you'll get busted if they decide to bust out a measuring tape and see ur car is lowered 3" lol

Each state is different.

I got a ticket for this before in my CRX because the COP thought I ran the toll. I took out my Sunpass and showed him I said " but officer it sensed it..see"

He got pissed, went back to his car and took out a tape measure. Gave me a ticket because my car from the middle of my headlights to the ground were below 24".

This was in Florida BTW.

Yeah, alot of the people on there were from Fullerton. The first half all had scenes from the meets at Rose and Imperial, Euclid and Rosecrans, and i think even of some from Harbor and Orangethorpe. Most of the people i would always see at the races or even talk to here and there. Eugene on there is the guy who owns Prostreet off the 5 and firestone. The fat guy Will at the end that had the caption, "Will never got his 500 bucks" was the guy who jacked me. F*cker owes me 2600. Long story.

Just bad luck yo.

It was FHP on a Saturday night at the Sawgrass expressway toll entrance.

When you happen to come across a cop that is in a bad mood well they will do anything and everything to get you. Plus he also gave me a ticket for having tint on my front windshield pass the TS mark, and my tint was falling off right so I told the officer that I would rip it off cause I was going to do it anyways and he said no, sign here.

2 tickets that day just trying to get some from my Girl but at the end it was worth it.

It used to be you can't have anything lower than the rims. I got a fix it ticket for this because of the U-bolts(91 Toy P/U) But I also heard of the headlight thing too. Might be both.

24" from a level surface to the MIDDLE of your headlight AND no portion of your car can be lower than the lowest part of your rim....in CA anyway...this is coming from my father who is a highway patrol
