2nd gear grinds 1/30 times while shifting at 7k rpms + after JRSC install
The day i got my car back from getting supercharged i brought it up on the freeway and shifted into second and i guess it grinded... then again i have never felt a grind. It just felt like it went in sloppily and i could really feel it in the shifter, but i couldnt really hear it like a grind when you try to shift the car without putting the clutch in.
Anyways it has done this about 3 times since the week i have had the car... and im wondering if it has something to do with the more power my car is making?
This is on a 2000 Civic SI transmission with Exedy stage 3 clutch, CTR LSD skunk2 short shifter and energy suspension bushing (about 8k miles on bushing, and approx 20k on tranny)
Hoping its not the synchro but if it is Type r tranny here i come..

Basically youre saying it is notchy going into gear...like it doesnt grind, but it "sticks"?
Look to your clutch man.

Before you attempt the fun task of removing your tranny and inspecting the clutch, try changing your tranny fluid and see what happens.

Having owned a SI and a GSR... I must say the Si transmission sucks in terms of quality. It just does not seem to take the abuse like the GSR one does. Mine had syncro issues from daily driving.
