i have oil in my car but my oil ligth comes on ?? And it also turnes off when i'm at idle. Does anyone know what the hell is going on.

Honestly Im not sure... guess it could just be badluck (if it is the sensor), it's just something more to consider if you don't find the source of your problem right off the bat.

your oil light is not warning you that your oil is low, it is warning you that you have low oil pressure. it could be the sensor or it could be the fact that you are in fact losing oil pressure. do a leakdown/compression test and double check your oil.

what kind of car/motor??? if your oil light is coming on, v-tec should not work. if, of course, you have a v-tec engine.

 

There is another guy on this forum having the same problem. Check your oil pressure asap at a shop.

is it easy to instill a oil pump or should i just take it to a shop ?? i put cams in my car, is it as hard as that ???

 

if you put cams in your car i dont see why you wouldnt be able to put in an oil pump. just remember to prime the whole system before you start the car. and if ur oil light keeps coming on try not to run ur car for long .... or there go the bearings.
