Just picked up a p28 out of a 94 EX... does it need to be chipped before I can use it for a b16? It is a manual virgin.

just rechip it with a program for whatever motor you're going to be running it on. i.e. LS program LS motor, GSR program for gsr motor and so on...

It might run with the virgin p28 but it will run RIGHT when chipped Trust me, I know.

One of the biggest issues is redline/revlimit
