It'll work. You need an engine mount kit to get it in though. It'll be the same as dropping it into an EG.

don't do that swap. a heavy motor in a relatively heavy car isn't a good combo. it's not the same as putting it in an eg. the eg only weighs about 2100 lbs, the teg weighs about 2600. after the swap you'll prolly only run mid/high 14's. keep the b18 in that thang. after some simple mods, you can do low 14's easily.

H22turbo: Have you driven one, personally, or do you know someone who owns one.

Hmm, considering the Integra weighs less than the Prelude, you will have apretty quick damn car. I do not see the logic in your post H22Turbo. That would be like saying you should dump your motor and put a B18C1 in your car, assuming you have a Prelude. It just does not make sense.

Now to the post. Yes you can put the H22 into your car. Like stated above, you will need a mount kit. You will also need some new axles.

actually yes i have driven one and it friggin' sucked. it was such a waste of money and time. you can do as much to a b18 as you can to an h22. cams, gears, exhaust with tuning will put you low 14's if not 13's with a b18 in an integra. why would you spend all that money and time to swap that motor in there? ok, so you spend a total of $5000 for everything for that swap to run low 14's (if that) and have a heavier car which handles like hell. or you can spend a total of $2000 for sick cams, gears, exhaust and tuning. and if you don't care about how you're aspirated, get a turbo kit for under $5000 and run 12's.

Well, I would agree with you there. Personally, I would keep the B18C1 in the car. Unless the motor was blown to hell, I don't think it is worth it.

Actually, talk to the member Prospeed here.
Or his website: http://www.Prospeed-Performance.com

He has an N/A H22A1 shoehorned in his 12 second Integra.

That's not a bad suspension set up. I've heard that if you use Tein, tanabe, etc coilovers that the handling is good enough for daily driving. Either way, if someone would buy my lude, I'd still do the swap. I don't care about cornering, just getting from here to there faster than the guy next to me.

I have a H22a in my 95 Gsr. When it was a street car i never had any major suspension problems or handling problems. I beat alot of cars at the street races and i ended up running 12.30's with some slicks and race doors. This was 2 1/2 years ago too!!! I did my swap 4 years ago. It was my daily driver. Also type-r engines in hatchbacks couldnt keep up. Only thing you do lose is your A/C unless you have a custom bracket to hold the compressor. That shouldnt be a problem. When i was running that 12.30s i just had headwork type-s cams,type-s pistons, regular polised aluminum intake pipe, Dc header(very ty) and my Prospeed Race Spec Ecu. It worked for me i don't see why it wouldn't work for you.

um i know two people who have that swap, and he wasnt running 14's, the key here is torque, my freind has it now turbo'd and is in search of a 11.99 on street tires

ok, so if after the swap he is running mid-high 14's (wich I personally think would be a little lower than that), couldn't he then do the same or equal "simple mods" and do even better? Some people don't strive for just good, some strive to be as best as they can afford or more
