Default Heater core.. yes i know search hear me out

illl be sitting there and its luke warm and ill rev it to like 2k and it gets hotter automatically so what im thinking is that when it revs it makes the water pump push more coolant through the partially clogged areas of the core

so im thinking thats the problem

i also have a problem.. my car doesnt stay warm itll warm up fine but if i drive around it will go back down to almost C on the temp guage.. so i put a pice of cardboard on the rad and it made it a bit better...

could be that, bad pump, or no thermostat or it is staying open

sounds like a thermostat problem (staying open or non existant)

sounds like your thermostat is staying open or there is no thermostat present in the cooling system.

yes sir.. its very wierd... i covered my rad with a few pieces of cardboard and it helped a little bit with the engine tempurature but the heat isnt hot still.... when i rev it it will get kinda hot but no other times... so i am guessing its time for a timing belt, water pump ,and a new heater core
