coolant froze???
i've been having prob with my engine over heating. i flush my lines brand new themastat now i just took the water pump off to find that all the coolant in my lines, rad, and in the pump are frozen like a slushi frozen.

sounds like you just added it ..but the mixture that was in there originally probably had to much water.

well did you ever have this problem before? is this why you flushed the system and refilled it with new coolant? if so it may be the water pump,,that frozen **** will kill the water pump blades.and obviously cause overheating...I dont have any other idea .

yea i did a little research. it's ok to have slush in the coolant on cold cold days. so i installed the water pump and i'm going to finish and then start the car pray for the best.
