Default Busted my shift fork, how hard is it to change?

stopped at a redlight going on to a highway...stepped on the clutch, felt like stepping in water...tried shifting into 1st when the lights turned green...couldn't get into any gears. that's how it happened. no noise, no signs of anything. it just happened like that. anyway, i open my hood and find that my shift fork wobbles all over the place so i'm gonna assume that i busted it somehow. i'm gonna be installing an os giken twin disc clutch in a few weeks so while i'm at it i'm gonna take apart the tranny and try installing a new shift fork. my question is, if anyone has changed one, is it pretty easy and straight forward? just in need of some advice before i go digging into trouble.

Are you talkngi abotu the clutch engagement arm? If so, maybe it's something as simple as the throwout bearing shattering which can happen or the fork came off it's holders. And it's super easy to replace if the arm is infact broken if you plan to doa clutch anyways. You practically take it out anyways when putting a new throwout bearing in

great...i think i can do it now. last time i replaced my clutch, i remember i didn't replace my throwout bearing because i lost it somewhere and decided to cheap out a bit. i hope it's just the bearing or something simple. i'd hate to have to buy a whole new fork. thanks Tchleung.
