ok i just figured it out but I still am having one problem.

When doing the dpfi to mpfi they are two yellow/black wires coming from each of the old dx injectors. are these just supposed to hang there from the old injectors going to resistor box or am i missing something. I have followed the dpfi-mpfi instructions exactly and it says nothing about what is supposed to happen after u wire the two yellow/black wores to the resistor box.

But I still need help wiring a6 dizzy to plug up with dx dizzy. Thanks anyone

The blk/yel wires are your power to the injectors. If you are running peak and hold injectors, you need a resister box. If not peak and hold, you do not need it.

OBD1 pinouts are in my sig.

yeah i am using a resistor box. i just wanted to make sure that i had everything right from my understanding. Brown wire from #1 injector goes to the yellow wire that was going to the old injector to the ecu. Nothing else from there correct? And then light blue wire from injector #3 goes to red wire from old injector which leads to ecu. Nothing else from there correct. And then red wire from #2 goes to unplugged A3 pin and yellow wire from #4 goes to unplugged A7 pin. If what I am saying is correct then i should have my old dx injectors hangin on the backside of my intake with the yellow/black wires from those injectors leading into a single yellow/black wire to the resistor box. And I should also have a red wire and a yellow wire that was once plugged into the ecu not unplugged and taped off. Some1 correct me if I am wrong.

2nd question: What color wire is the knock sensor on a dx harness?

3rd question: My 4 wire o2 sensor has has a yellow/black wire and a orange/black wire which wire is the o2 heater control and which is the o2 12v switch?

4th question: On dx harness what color wires come from the Intake Air Temp Sensor (IAT)
and what color wire comes from the Evap Emission (EAVP)

5th and final question:
My obd1 Distributor has this setup
1. white/green
2. blue/light blue
3. orange/green
4. orange
5. white
6. white/blue
7. blue/yellow
Which wires are the Crank Angle sensor and what is the color match up to the DX distributor wires?
