Are stock ECU's already socketed ?

Are stock ECU socketed so that you can remove the stock ECU chip replace it with a aftermarket one ? If not where can i go to have the Stock ECU desoldered and replace with a socket ?

no, you'll have to pay someone to desolder or attempt it yourself.
I prefered to pay someone else (Locash) to install the socket/chip.
