2000 LS motor Losing 1 qt every 300 miles
2000 LS motor Losing 1 qt every 300 miles..
Here's what i've done.
Compression check was good.
Leak Down Test came up good
Checked underneath the car - Couple of drips from the washer.
Checked around the valve cover - need to get a new oil cap. Leaking out. Also leaking from the tube rings.
Checked the around the head cylinder firewall. no leaks. around the engine bay. No leaks.
Any tips or info on this issue????? BTW: I did a swap.. 2000 LS motor into DA

You would notice that much oil sitting in a puddle under your car.
Fix those minor leaks and see what happens.
Do you blow smoke out your exhaust? If so, what color?
Pull your spark plugs and see if they're fouled out from burning oil.
