Default Valve sticking or bad stem seal, would you still boost??

OK guys I have 99% of everything and want to get ready to install my stuff. I have one problem though. I think one of my exhuast valves is sticking at high rpms or maybe a valve stem seal is going bad becuase i burn oil at high rpms (only visible smoke at high rpms). I did a comp test and got 210 across the board.

So would you all still boost?

A leakdown will tell you exactly whats wrong, I would say its definately head-related.

Is the block stock? In my car, I had oil issues when I built my motor because I got the ring gaps inline on #1. Fixed and everything is fine now...

Yes the block is stock.

I dont burn a whole lot of oil. maybe in 2 weeks ill have to put in <1/4 of a quart. That is with me driving it hard and going about 30miles a day.

boost it, dooo it, you knwo you want to.

but i would do a leakdown test first and foremost, then look at your options. if its a valve, then might as well upgrade teh valvetrain, or just look for a head in a junkyard or something. the joys of having a d-series.

Oil in the combustion chamber is very bad since it has an effective octane rating of 0. Unless you like detonation, don't run your engine in this state.
