Default Autopower U-Weld Roll Cage...SCCA/NASA Approved??

Hey, as the title says, i wanted to know..since the 6 point bolt in is NASA ans SCCA approved, is the weld-in cage approved as well. Thank you. Are there any approved weld in types? or how does the weld roll cages become approved. I ALREADY SEARCHED THIS TOPIC.

if you get the complete DOM weld in cage ya its legal.

i suggest you download both rule books there online and free.

And if your going to be wheel-2-wheel id go with a custom cage, much better fitting and safer.

first off, what does DOM mean, i saw it on the site, also..what do you mean by wheel-2-wheel

so can i weld up my own cage?...the thing is it wont be legal? so where do i get a custom cage so its legal..how do you determine legal from illegal?

DOM has no seam. I used it for my radius rods because i wanted something strong.

yea .. a solid stock is forced over a mandrel making it a tube and seamless ..

not a flat sheet rolled then welded ..
