Please point me in the right direction (Nissan lug nuts)
Wasn't sure of a good 240sx forum, so I thought I might ask here...
I drive a stock Honda accord with stock wheels, which accept the ball type lug nuts found on most Hondas (middle in the pic below).
I recently acquired a set of Nissan 240SX wheels, that I would like to use with my autocross-only tires at every event. With safety in mind, I would like to use the correct type of lug nuts with these wheels.
What type of lug nut seating surface do the Nissans use?

Honestly, I would think you should be able to tell what kind just by looking at them closely. Maybe take one of your stock Honda lugs and try fitting it in the seating surface of the 240 wheels. If it wiggles around very easily, it probably isn't the right kind.

B15 Sentras use 45-degree tapered lug nuts, which is probably the same as 240SX's (same bolt pattern & manufacturer, so I'm guessing they wouldn't change that characteristic).
Nissans use conical lug nut seats, and the thread pitch is different than what Hondas use. So Honda lugs will not work, and vice versa.

as mentioned above, the 240sx (i believe all nissans) has a tapered lug nut (a.k.a. 45deg., conical, etc.).

just so no one gets confused:
Honda - m12x1.5
Nissan - m12x1.25
really sucks when you have a nissan and a honda... lug nuts get mixed up and some aren't marked.

I just picked up a set of conical m12x1.5 lugs for my rota's from autozone. They fit my honda, so they would work for yours, too.
They weren't very expensive, they're steel, and should hold up pretty well. They're anodized red, but look pink, so I'll have a very pretty car at SOWS next weekend.

See, I think I already have a set of 60* cone taper lug nuts laying around that I used to use with my aftermarket wheels on my Honda. As previously mentioned, I will probably need 45* cone nuts...
I'm going to Discount tire to clear this up...

Well, I just got back from O'Reilly's, empty handed. The guy looked up a normal nissan 240sx lug nut, and brought it to the counter. We compared it to my 12x1.5 aftermarket 60* cone seat lug nut, and they look exactly the same (the cone seat).
We flipped thru the book and could not find any 45* cone seat lug nuts; only 90* and 60.*
I could run my 60* cone seat lug nuts that I've had laying around all along, but I will stop by Discount tire to see if these damn 45* lug nuts actually exist...
