Do Type R's have the Firewall padding?

Do Type R's have the Firewall padding?
I know they have no floorboard sound deatner, however I was wondering..Do they have the thick padding inside the interior up against the Firewall?

my old 98 itr didnt have it...all the heat from the engine used to come inside

didnt know that...must be how the r's lost all 100 lbs less then the rs's?
