I've been religiously reading this site for the past month or two and i finally got around to becoming a member
just wanted to say hello, im from sydney australia, PY ITR

hey ive been looking all over the place and i tried the search function but couldnt get it to work... i wanna know if anyone has any tricks to maintaining the alcantra on the recaro's in my car
from sliding across getting in and out its gone all shiny.... dunno if anyone else has noticed this

my seats are the same way, matter of fact, everyones seats are the same way.
from what i remember, the alcantra fabric was a pain to find, still dont know if anyone has found it, but i know that the "jersey" type fabric was found.
its a seat, its gonna wear down. just gotta be careful of sliding around in it.

i dont know if anyone has tried this or not....but did anyone think to ever place a towel or thick piece of cloth where their seats are wearing the most. I know thats a pretty obvious question...but sometimes the obvious is the least thought of!
