Default Yup Another CTR LS/Vtec Question

Ive read over and over again about the compression ratio with CTR in a LSVtec.

I want to run a GSR head of course it will be built with 43mm ITB. But according to Omniman the compression ratio is too high for street use

lsvtec with gsr head and ctr pistons
head Gasket 2.8cc big vol= 495.6cc
piston dome vol. 6.3cc small vol= 37.2cc stock gsr/lsvtec=13.3
camber vol. 42cc
deck height .25mm 1.3cc
cyl vol. 458.4cc

Is this accurate?

According to the Compression Calculator my compression will be 12.4

so whats true?

READ THE THREAD STICKIED AT THE TOP OF THIS FORUM. I WOULD TRUST OMNIMAN OVER A COMPRESSION CALCULATOR. and yes its he's right 13.3:1. there are several things the compression calculator doesnt factor in which give you inaccurate data

to omniman

Omniman is correct. Most compression calculators dont take into account the PDH of CTR pistons.

For street you can use them, but make sure you have a great tune and run the highest octane gas you can. I would personally go with a lower C/R on the street.
