Are you guys cutting little triangle pieces to fill in the gaps or what? I cannot seem to find any closeups of these transitions and was wondering what the most common techinique is.

If you cut the parts right, you shouldn't have any gaps.

Look up the writeups on 4-2 collectors...then do the same thing, but don't make 2 cuts per pipe. That will get you started.

I understand that. My question is after you have a 2 pipe merge how do you get a smooth transition into 1 pipe? Get my drift? Say you take two 2" pipes and merge them together now you take those and put it to a 2.5" pipe.....
