I've gutted the interior except for the panel on the rear hatch. It was getting dark and I didnt have much time to fool with it. I saw there was one screw in the hatch release tray. I removed that and popped the panel off the hatch but was hung up on the hatch release.

 

Just pull that ****.

I'm really not trying to be a smart *** when I say this. I'm not sure if you misunderstood me, or if you just didn't read my thread at all. The faq has been great. I've used it every step of the way in removing my interior. But I do not see a part that shows how to remove the hatch panel. If you could kindly post a link to the part that shows someone removing that panel. Please dont confuse this with the rear hatch quarter panels.
