I need to identify the color because I bought a hatch that is missing a few interior peices. The interior is a grey color. I went to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and found what I am looking for but it cam in 2 colors EXCEL CHARCOAL and CLASSY GRAY. I have no means of taking any pictures of my interior so can someone post up thier pics and color they are. Oh btw its a 96 civic dx ith black exterior.

I know that the color code appears in the driver's side door jam. Not sure if that helps you match up against a named color.

 

Look in the door jam, there's a sticker that says the interior type. Type K is dark grey, charcoal, and type F is light grey, classy. The sticker should be there, unless the car was repainted or something

just looked. Type K so it's darl grey.

Actually, it's the other way around according to Honda part #'s.

Yep nub.96ek is correct...It is the other way around than posted earlier!!!!!!!!

Here is the correct color codes:
Color Code K is DarkGrey/Classy Grey
Color Code F is Lightgrey/Charcoal
Color Code P is Beige
The color codes are listed on the inside of the driver's door...

I would email then and have them change it if you ordered Charcoal thinking it was the dark grey(infact Charcoal is the color of the light grey don't ask me why they named it that way because it is backwards).

This is 100% correct.

For everyone else who posted something incorrect, PLEASE stop spreading misinformation on H-T! The guy ordered the wrong parts because you don't know what you are talking about. If you are not 100% sure that the information you are posting is 100% accurate, you should say so. Don't mislead fellow members.
