Default Magnetic number plate?

Most of the places I've seen pre-made kits are individual numbers and class letters.

I'd prefer a magnetic number plate, with the letters and numbers on one panel. That way I can use clear tape on the leading edge for track use. I'd hate to lose random numbers/letters at the track.

Anybody know where I can get these made for a reasonable price?

I just saw that. Their price seems quite reasonable (door sign for $25/side according to website). Guess I'll be giving them a call.

We also offer some snazzy GRM panels. I had to "section" them so they'd fit on the Civic, however. The numbers came from Undergroud Products, a BMX company.

I used edecals.com (look for their touring plates) and just had them make the vinyl. I then orderd a bunch of magnetic sheeting from Pegasus.

Apply sticker, and trim. Simple as can be. I think it cost me around $35 for the set.

PM received. Thanks. The panels came out pretty well, and since we ordered a ton the price is reasonable. I got the magnetic material from our local sign shop.

Remind me to discuss this with my dad at VIR. We got some really nice plates from a sponsor of ours for what I think are reasonable prices. I think we'll even have some of their work to show this weekend.

I went to a local sign shop in town. Took them a Paint Shop file and gave it to them, they cut the vinyl and put it on a magnet. I paid $35 for the pair I think? 11x14 magnets.... might just want to call around town.

For those that run in 'by the book' regions or run at Divisionals/National events... remember.. they increased the letter height to 25%-75% of the Number hight, 4" minimum

That is true. Technically my numbers are too small. I'll make new panels if/when the car makes any major appearances.

At first glance I thought you were just driving thru a city with numbers and helmet on. Then I noticed the down cone on the left.

Hate to tell you this, but at any distance/speed, red and grey/silver DON'T contrast well at all. Nice idea, wrong color.

Back when 3" letter height was legal last year. Doh! 4" Minimum really kills things. They're going to have to be separate panels this year.
