positive, this is from the july 2004 issue of Modified Magazine. It said he used a universal HKS hi-power muffler w/ custom piping. this is by far one of the best single exhausts i have ever seen for the s2000

Looks the same as any other single. Get a muffler and take it to the exhaust shop. tell the what mm you want your pipes. Shouldnt be that expensive.

spoon/apexi n1 are too loud and plus don't look as good imho. i need an exhaust that will fill out the outlets of my bumper (i have an 04) one that comes out on an angle like this

I know that hks makes a dual hi power exhaust and you can check it out and watch a video clip at http://www.hksusa.com . It goes for a a little over a G on the webiste.

the apexi n1 has bigger canisters then the hks... and they are also slanted just like the hks....

i had an apexi n1 on my civic back in the days.. and i now have the hks on my S..

i would never do a universal muffler w/ custom piping...losing power isn't worth the sound or look to me. just get a cheap spugen, hell of a deal there

the hks losing power has not been proven.. the only dyno sheet that has surfaced showing the loss in power... well there is an explenation....

1. the guy said his intake was the main cause of the loss in power
2. he also stated that the rear resonator on the exhaust was cut off, for which it caused less backpresure which in return caused a loss of power..

How's the sound on the HKS? I know that apexi N1 is a little high pitched, but what about HKS. My friend has HKS Hyper exhaust for his WRX and damn that **** sounds clean and mean; it has more of a bass (rumble) sound more than a high pitch sound. But other than that Clean exhaust; Respect.

I strongly agree, the Amuse titanium is one of the best exhaust systems for the S2K. Plus with its burnt tip gives it a more aggressive look. The Amuse Titanium is the exhaust system with I have my mind set on.
