my new taillights (need help)
hello everybody
i just got from a friend tail lights for my hatch.
one of them looks like this:

it looks like some liquid spilt on the plastic and digested it.... but its not very deep in the plastic...!
i tryed to wax it to make it look better and it didnt helped.
should i try to sandpaper it with very thin grid and clear coat it?
best regards moshik galimidi

There's a thread on how to "revive" the appearance of your headlights, I'll try to find it. Maybe you can use the same concept on the taillights.

ez... wetsand 600 grit to take out the chemical damage... then 800, 1000, 1500 grit... keep wetsanding till you can wetsand no more!!! the more time you spend here, the better it'll look. then use a 3M plastic polish medium and fine cuts... then finish the job with Meguiars Plastix
just do the wetsand, then go to your local parts store and pick up a plastic polisher, you don't need to find those brands if they aren't there, there should still be a type of the polish in the store somewhere. Good Luck
