do you know if they are yellow tinted or just yellow?
can i remove the yellow and become clear again?

 

Tinted. You can sand the tint off the lights then after its clear again, clear coat them and they will look like new! my brother has gotten black tint off a few sets of tail lights and also re finished foggy head lights this way.

 

Couldn't he just use a heat gun to reheat the film and pull it off? Seems logical. Then he shouldn't have to worry about sanding through it and having to re-clear his headlights.......

 

I'm saying if it is not film tint and is spray can tinting similar to VHT night shades then it won't just peel off but it can be sanded off.
