Default Headlights and dash lights dimming? Could it be my recently new CD player install?

Like the title says....after i had the CD player put in, my dash lights and head lights began to dim as i was driving...not like cutting off then on or anything...just enough to be noticed and **** me off. I had my alternator tested, and it's cool....the thing that struck me as funny was when the guy checking my alternator said that it could be a ground lead not properly tightened. Could the CD player ground not being tight enough cause all of the aforementioned lights to dim while driving?

Thanks

Could be. Definitly pull that thing out and re-check and tighten all connections. I cannot tell you how many times a connection I thought was solid, was actually a little loose. If the radio is the ONLY thing you did before this started happening then you have only one variable. I bet money on that ground. Double check your power lead into the radio too.
