I have a 91 crx with a recently swapped D15B vtec. The car has been running great for the last 2 months with no problems. Now, when i turn my headlights on my cd player shuts off....then comes back on. Then, if i hit my brakes or use my turn signal if shuts off again. It doesnt do it during the day because i dont have my headlights or anything on. Is this a bad alternator? ignitor ( although i have a new reman distributor ). Bad ground? I checked all the grounds that im aware of? Any help would be great!

brought back from the dead...

i would think that you have an exposed power wire for your radio and is grounding out...pull your head unit out and start looking. shouldn't be hard to find, look around where wires are close to the metal framing under the dash and things. its definately something tied into the radio...see what else is running off that same fuse

sounds like the single wire from the alternator is loose, check it at the alternator and at the fuse box.
