Lately ive been having some transmission probles (B16 tranny.) Sometimes it will lock me out of fourth for about a half second when trying to shift in and then when I coast in a gear and let out the clutch it makes a whinning noise, sort of the same sound as a high torque starter in a VR6. Anyone know what the problem could be?

 

I have heard this numerous times, unfortunately I don't have a manual and didn't pay much attention. There should be alot in the archives. Maybe I'll stay with the automatic I've heard alot less problems with em.
