Well it happend to me
Im driving home from work and i hit this dip in the road on the passanger side and bam all this water splashes up and on the car. Its been rainging all day. Im going up a small hill to turn onto a bridge and the cars rpms goes down and the car dies. I tried restarting it and it turned over and then cut out..did this twice. The third time it didn't turn over. After a minute or so i turned it over again and it made this weird suction noise whoooooooooppppmm. And cut out. I popped the hood open and checked my short ram intake and took off the filter no water or anything. Weird so i go back in and tried starting it again and after a couple more tries it starts. I drive it slowely to gas station and RPMs are normal and everything. Got home. Checked the spark plugs...dry. Took the whole short ram off nothing. Any ideas. Car idles fine. Just worrying me of why it did that. Im almost crapped myself thinking I hydrolocked...but i was like i have my short ram on.
hmm wonder how that happend...some steam came out of engine bay when i popped it open.....its fine now....im not buggin if its the wires or the distributor as long as the engine is fine.
On a side note anyone know what it means if the spark plug is black around the ends of it on the circle (this is botsch platinum 4) and the 4 prongs and the middle are grey in color.
