You dont even know what JDM is yet you're all "bout it bout it" like Master P.

Do a search/look around in the Appearance/Cosmetic section and you'll probably run across a few JDM hatch interiors.

Or try the search function here, or even google.com.

I got off my high horse and did a search for you.

Search Results

Your search for jdm interior returned 22 results.

Half of those topics mention EG hatch interior in the topic name.

Good luck.

Jeter, that's user JeffS from this site. His car's for sale. I can vouch for it personally.

It's sad, but I'm getting three to four times as many emails from people wanting to know where to buy that interior (or how to install it, or wanting me to sell them just the interior) than I am from people wanting to buy the car.

As I stated in my post here on H-T, I don't have time to run a how-to clinic for everyone. It would be different if I'd started a thread talking about the interior.

To the original poster, this is for an EG. It won't fit in your EK, and they don't make such a thing for you car... so if you REALLY want it, just sell your car and buy mine

It can be hard to find, probably because the shipping (even in a container) makes it too expensive to sell for a profit. If you look around long enough you'll see a set pop up for sale on H-T or ebay. MOST of what I see for sale is the grey that noone really wants. There's a car for sale right now on ebay with the grey plastics in it. On top of that, there's a good chance that the seats will be purple or yellow, both of which noone really wants.

I didn't build my car, I bought it with most of the work done. I have to think that someone probably imported an entire car and stripped it to get as many pieces as they did. I've got matching seats, the full panel set and even the JDM headliner/maplight/sunvisors. It's amazing how much nicer everything is than the crap they sent to the US. The only downside is that the hard plastic is very slick. Anything you put back there goes sliding all over the place and quickly ends up in the floor behind the front seats -- including my dogs. I put them back there one time and didn't make it two blocks before I turned around and went home.

I don't want to burst your bubble in here, but honestly, from someone that doesn't own an EG, I wouldn't know the difference.

It looks like a normal Honda interior.

To a certain degree, that's the point. The same can be said for many of the other parts people install on their cars.

Personally, I'm not a big JDM freak. I went out looking for a clean car, and this is what i came home with. Were I to build another civic in the future though, I'd definitely consider changing the interior.

That said, car modification should be about making the owner happy. What Mary, ewww you drive a civic, Smith thinks about my car is irrelevent. I'm probably in the minority, but that's how I feel.

I'm just all about form following function, after all, I'm a poor CRX owner. It just doesn't seem financially responsible to spend that much on a plastic interior... But I guess if a CRX SiR leather interior popped up in my garage I wouldn't complain either.
