I've heard from different people that landspeed racing has gone under, and some of them never got the item they ordered. so does anyone know where to get one? i checked powercore.com, but all the distributors sites were down.

 

alot of the "powercore" stuff that landspeed was selling was actually "focuz" products. Try for a catco from summit or just get a testpipe.

 

I would get a test pipe, but i don't feel like having a high chance of getting pulled over, and finding out there's no cat. Not good imo.

 

can u pass emissions with hiflo in GA?

 

Only if the cat can get hot enough, but you would never run a high-flow to pass emissions... of course you would just replace stock for that.

 

sry to threadjack, but how serious are cops getting about not having a cat on you exhaust. i mean, do they actually lay on the ground and look underneath your car for a cat?

 

If you are found running w/o a cat, the penalties can get pretty sever, such as immediate impounding of car, large fines, etc. I think cops can realize when theres a loud exhaust, and when the car sounds like a jet airplane from running no cat. Plus no cat = big time pollution.
