Just dropped in rebuilt motor. after 4 Months. Car will not turn over.
Hey guys, my turbo engine build project is finally done and the engine is in the car ready to run.
When I turn the ignition to the start position, i get a loud click. Audiable from under the dash, and im not for sure but from the engine bay too.
Sounds like the click of a relay.
Where are all the connections that i need to check so i Can crank this baby over.

check your starter cut relay it's in the driver side(near the dead foot up top) Also check your clutch interlock switch(behind the clutch pedal). But since you said it happens when you put it in starter position and not ACC position I'm pointing towards a possible bad starter solenoid. If the starter is bad the solenoid will constantly click because inside the solenoid is a plunger that connects to the starter "ring gear" which causes the starter to crank the engine over. If the solenoid is going bad it will not have enough volts to engage the plunger to the starter itself.
