I believe the SH model came out in 1997. The diffrence is only in the ATTS system (advance torque transfer system) which allows the SH to corner better.
Someone correct me if im wrong

the type SH has an H22A4, the same one as the base model. it has slightly more agressive cams (SLIGHTLY) in order to make up for the powerloss of the ATTS.

the type SH is always a 5-speed while some (one is one too many) 5th gen base models are slowmatics.

the H22A, H22A1, and H22A4 are all VTEC motors.
