H22a sH motor question-->>>
There is not any diffrence between the base and sh distributors. There is some jdm h22's that have internal coils instead of external coils is that what your asking?
alot of people on this forum have said NOT to get the h22a SH motor when you are doing a swap into an ek civic.. there is evidently something that makes the swap extremly complicated. i dont know how to tell the differance in the h22a and h22a sh.. i would like to know becasue i am going to check out a motor for my civic and i dont want to screw up and get an sh motor.
thanks

It's because the SH has the ATTS system in the tranny, and unless you use the p5p SH ecu it won't work, plus the block is different and only the SH tranny can bolt up to it as the intermediate shafts and axles are different.
I'm gonna guess it's the axles that are a pain in the *** for Civic swaps. SH is a waste for a swap unless you really want the ATTS system.
