Alrighty driving to the gas station i started to get a weird knock/shatter sound. I cant figure out what it is, alrighty heres the rundown b20b, gsr trany, oem clutch/flywheel.

The knock/shatter basically starts when your driving around 2krpm and up, it doesnt get any faster or slower. Basically it knocks/ shatters the same speed all the time, no faster or slower with engine rpms. If i depress the clutch and dont let the rpms drop it will still knock slightly, but if get off the gas a bit and depress the clutch the knock will stop. At the gas station i free reved and held the engine to like 2-3k and no knock, so i dont think its the motor. I also checked oil which was still clean after a thousand miles, and my oil gauge (idle 25 psi, driving around 73psi) didnt drop at all while driving. So i'm either thinking throw out bearing or clutch. What do you guys think.

sounds like tranny but could be motor lifters or valves or bad gas..

 

It was the throw out bearing.
