aem bypass valve clearance?

Default aem bypass valve clearance?

I just put an injen cai on my base. im worried about possible hydrolock. Does anyone, base or type s have it. If so did you have any issues with clearing the radiator hose? pics would cool.

I wish I could help, there is like NO room for that valve on an RSX cold air intake. If you find a way...Let us see it.

as far as i've read, you need to cut the pipe somewhere on the up bend and put the bypass there. of course, u'll lose power this way

Ya thats what i was thinkin. The elbow comin outa the throttle body barely has enough clearance. To help with this issue, maybe a bit, i read on another thread (cant remember which) that there is no bypass valve available for the rsx. Seems kinda odd that someone would say that seein as intakes pipe are pretty universal, size wise.

my friend has the bypass valve right after his throttle body. there is no other place to really install it on our cars.

Is he happy with it? Any loss in performance or is working the way its supposed to?

unfortunately there is considerable inlet turbulence at the TB for that set up. I would sell it an purchase something else.

I would recommend the V2

Ya im planning on just cutting the CAI and makin a shorty. Keep the other half to make it a cold air again for dryer months. I dunno wtf is up. Finally when i put a cai on its gonna rain for the whole next week here in cali.
