Just installed GSR brake conversion and also had to change out a busted axle. Get it all in and bolted and notice the boot on the axle where it goes into the tranny case is collapsed.........what is it that has happened and is there an easy fix?

This happened before on my 99SI and we just twisted and wiggled whatever "it" is back in place only this time not having too much luck. Help!

take it back out and try to wiggle it and see if it can move around in a circle...you might of accidently pulled out the bearings inside and maybe need to open the boot and put the bearings back..

 

Just buy new boots, there about 20 bucks for a pair, and its a 15 minute job and you wont have to worry about the bearings siezing on ya or anything

Read man, I just put in a new axle.

Anyway, we wiggled it around and it's fixed now.

 

What up litterbox, that power window switch conversion work out for ya? I got my Honda Bible here with me if you need me to walk you through again...
