Default Axle Problem

So I started installing my camber kit and when I took my front right wheel off I found all this dark green goo all over the place. I looked closer and it seems to be coming from my axle right where it connects to the brakes. What the hell is it and what does this mean and how much will it cost to fix it? Thanks in advance.

its the grease from the cv boot. you can replace that boot for around 20-30$

The axle doesn't connect to the brakes. But from what you're describing, I agree with B20TDC2. Do you see a tear in the CV boot?

If its the boot, replace the whole axle, easier then the boot...

go to autozone pay like 60 bucks i think? maybe 80 and get lifetime warranty axles..
Just changed mine last week takes about an hour or so
