i have a strange problem, after changing my fuel filter a couple months ago my car has been acting a lil funny. when i hit around 6000-8000rpm the engine will occasionaly feel like its stuttering on and off. also when i am sitting at lights sometimes my idle will drop to 400-500 if i turn on an accessorry like the heater or something it will come back up to normal idle. my check engine light does not come on so im assuming that it is not throwing any codes.
my second problem is just about a annoying ticking sound. i took it to honda but they said that it was normal. that it was making that sound because the B-series cams are aggressive like that. however i never hear this noise with my friends gsrs.i think i may need a vavle adjustment. could there be a connection between the 2? any suggestions on how to fix this? o the car is a 99 SI by the way. well thanks for looking
