Idle weird??

Idle weird??
hi i got a 99 si and when i turn it on before i go to work it idles around 1600 rpms then when it starts to warm up goes down to 1000 1200 then after it warms up its usually at 800 but then when i rev goes down to 500 then slowly raises to 800 850?? what should i check ? im new at this so dont yell at me lol

that sounds about right. it is normal for the car to idle higher when its cold then drop to around 500 rpms then any little load that you put on it like pushing the brakes turning on head lights ect will increase rpm do to increased load on the engine. Now if its hunting after warm up like 500 to 1500 rpms then you have a problem
